Moose Drool

For Drool, It's Tasty

Big Sky's Moose Drool is a rich, easy-drinking Brown Ale brewed by Big Sky brewing in Montana. It's an example of somewhere between an American and Northern English brown ale.

The Recipe

I found this recipe originally on the Beer Smith forums. I took some of the orignal brewer's comments into account and re-formulated the recipe. I added two versions of Crystal Malts, upped the hops a bit, upped the Chocolate malt slightly, and used White Labs WLP002 English Ale yeast for a bit of added residual sweetness.
