Dogfish Head Raison D'etre

Rich, Complex, and Contemplative

This is a rich, complex, somewhat sweet hybrid style beer that is best for sipping rather than gulping. It has a little bit of just about every flavor you can imagine and is great for a moment of quiet contemplation on all things that a great, original craftbrewed beer can be.
Adjuncts including rasins and Belgian candi sugar make this a unique and fun brew. Be sure to have a big pitch of yeast ready as this is a high gravity beer and will be a challenge for the little critters.
